'The amenities at this resort are super nice. The pool is great, there’s a really nice playground and a jumping pad too. After hours check-in is a breeze. I didn’t super love the actual cabin. I feel like it was inaccurately described as I thought “cabin” meant a stand alone building. The cabin I rented was half of a cabin with shared walls. Traveling with a baby, I really didn’t want shared walls, so if the description had reflected that it was a partial cabin I might’ve booked a different...

'This is a basement of a house. You share a joined entrance. Host was there when we arrived and showed us our space. Then we didn't see host again (no need to). Space was cool (which was nice on a super hot day!). In a quiet neighborhood setting. All was as described. A good space & nice for a night's rest.'

'Area was very scenic and peaceful. With four bedrooms this house easily accommodated a large family. Host quickly responded to questions. Wish I could have stayed longer.'

'Can't say enough about positive things about this stay, As someone needing a place that accommodates a pair of dogs, I couldn't have asked for more. An easily accessible yard coupled with a rustic cabin that is both comfy and pet friendly is not an easy find. We had another couple stay with us and we all appreciated the surroundings (beautiful neighborhood surrounded by parks great for both people and dog walking) and easy access to both the Black Hills and and the conveniences of Rapid City....

'We only stayed one night, but we enjoyed the Swiss Chalet. It was clean, well stocked, there were toys and a tent for the kids and the beds were comfortable. My husband and I had fun playing ping pong and air hockey and teaching our girls to play too. Overall a great place to stay halfway through our trip! '

'Clean, comfortable, and loved the extra touches with extra supplies like coffee and little things. We did struggle with getting the keys and the upper dead bolt, but that was our only complaint. Overall, good experience '
