'My boyfriend and I stayed at Beverly’s place for an extended weekend and had an incredible experience. The space was cozy, clean, had everything we needed and the private walk to the beach was so convenient. We had some issues with figuring out the washer during our stay and Beverly was quick to respond and come downstairs to help get things resolved. She even shared some cookies with us before leaving! Absolutely recommend this place and will definitely be staying here in the future!'

'This was our first time in New Bern, came to town for business. The house is BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED and MAINTAINED! The owners restored the home to as much as its original Victorian state. The house is a 5 min walk from downtown. I highly recommend MJs Bar and Grille, La Rosa (authentic Italian, is about 10 mins from the house).For the BEST country breakfast go to Bakers Kitchen (their Dutch Potatoes are out of this world). 'Charming historic home in downtown New Bern - perfect walking distance to heart of downtown and practically across the street from Tryon Palace. We stayed in the downstairs unit which has a lovely back porch, great little patio and plenty of off street parking. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond when I had a question about the keys. Would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town.'

'I have stayed at alot of places at the beach but this one filled the bill to a tee. The room was exactly the right size for my husband and myself. Loved everything about it, bed was comfy, plenty of storage for our clothes, lots of kitchen items to make a meal and sit down to eat. Wish we could of stayed longer than a week. Loved location, grounds are well kept, canal with dock and fish cleaning station was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks Cindy for answering my questions...

'Perfect place for a couple's retreat. The outside of the property was in need of TLC and the upstairs isn't being used. It was worrisome at first glance, but don't judge a book by its cover.
