Niet wachten in lijn met de particuliere toegang tot de rivier, op slechts een steenworp afstand van je achterdeur! Dit huis ligt vlak voor de 3e kruising op River Road. Geïnteresseerd in vissen? Dit is de perfecte plek voor jou! De Guadalupe-rivier bij de 3e oversteek is gevuld met forel vanaf 1 december! Het huidige record van de accommodatie is 27 forellen in 3 uur. Mis je kans niet om te proberen de plaat te verslaan! Ruime keuken met eettafel voor 6 en 4 extra zitplaatsen aan de ontbijttafel. Comfortabele woonkamer met een futon voor 2 personen. Grote slaapkamer met een queensize bed en een prachtig uitzicht op de rivier met directe toegang tot de veranda. Slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer. Boven loft geweldig voor kinderen om games te spelen, films te kijken en te ontspannen! De tweede slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed met uitzicht op de rivier. De derde slaapkamer, ook met uitzicht op de rivier, heeft 2 aparte bedden. Gast bad is handig om zowel de slaapkamers op de bovenverdieping en de zolder. Hoogwaardig beddengoed wordt verstrekt voor alle bedden en badkamers.

Er zijn prachtige tubehuren, pendeldiensten en entertainment op en neer River Road! De dichtstbijzijnde tube verhuur naar het huis is Rocky Beach, dat is slechts 0,8 mijl afstand. De beste vissen in de omgeving! Slechts een korte rit naar Gruene en het centrum van New Braunfels, die beide verschillende restaurants, entertainment en tal van activiteiten bieden. Gruene Hall is de oudste danszaal in Texas en een beroemde bezienswaardigheid. Gruene biedt ook geweldige winkels, restaurants en wijnproeverijen. Dicht bij de outletcentra van San Marcos, Schlitterbahn en Canyon Lake. Gasten moeten 25 jaar of ouder zijn om een reservering te maken en moeten in de accommodatie verblijven. Great location! River is awesome. Gotta go into Gruene at least once, but most important, gotta just sit in the river as much as possible. God Bless Gruene Hall and the Guadalupe River!

Lovely property, well-maintained in an ideal location. The river was just steps away from the beautiful porch and the property is minutes away from horseshoe float and Gruene activities. Excellent communication with property management during check in and check out process. Our family had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Weekend Getaway

Beautiful home and view with direct access to the river. Quiet and peaceful. It was a short drive into Gruene and New Braunfels. There was ease in communication with the property management company. I could not be more pleased with the visit!

Quite and Amazing River front property

This house toward the end of River Road. Very secluded and private with a very nice waterfront River front area perfect to enjoy the day in the Guadalupe River!! Really relaxing experience.

We set up a canopy with water chairs to hang out in the water. The grandkids had so much fun floating down a bit and walked back up. We were able to also do an hour and half float down to the house. I would highly recommend this house. The only issue we had was the 2 twin beds upstairs were not very comfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is clean, it’s a great location, and it is remote with great scenery. Biggest issue that we had was that the coffee pots were all broken, there was a Keurig provided, but it wasn’t very clean. The condenser for the HVAC system is extremely loud and can be heard in the master bedroom. The master bed needs some serious maintenance. It’s on a very cheap metal frame that cracks and squeaks for even the slightest movement. We did not have a good resting stay because of this. The last night we ended up staying in the living room on the futon, which wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the igniter was broken on the propane grill. The lack of a charcoal barbecue pit or any type of fire pit also really sucks. It would’ve been really nice to be able to make some s’mores or have a crackling fire at night, but we knew this coming in and we still accepted the property. And the biggest issue for me personally was the constant text and emails by the property management company. Receiving emails asking us to stay longer to pay more, and sending check out information two days ahead of time and then again the following day was a little much. This was our family second time with this house and First time, there was a small fire pit near the river, which made the stay a lot nicer. We will reconsider and probably not stay at this property again or with this management company with the amount of text and emails they sent.

Bring your own tubes or rent from Roy's and put in upstream at Meckles Landing for a nice hour-long float to the property. Lovely porch with comfortable chairs - this is where I spent most of my time. If you are looking for a place to fish, this probably isn't the spot. And we did have a few minor issues (there is an alarm that kept going off at night and needed to be reset, the roof leaked in the heavy rain and the dishwasher also leaked) but the rental manager was responsive, so they have likely fixed these issues. All things considered; I'd rent this property again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental was great for our group. It was 100 degrees and the house was always cool so hats off to AC unit. It was a nice spot for sitting in the river and relaxing. Beds in this home are definitely a 3 out of 10. If you like that squeaky springs from the 70's feel you will love it. Kitchen size and table were great for games and food. Barbeque Ignition DOES NOT work so be prepared to risk explosion to get it lit. :) The hill down to the water gets rough after 4 or 5 trips back and fourth so bring what you need to the water.
