CarriageHaus Retreat at the Comal truly has it all! This beautiful spacious home is located right in the heart of New Braunfels and all the great things it has to offer. The home is a short walk to the entrance to the Comal River at the Tube Shoot and a short walk back from the last public tuber's exit. Schlitterbahn is literally next door to the home!



The home and Pavilion have been completely remodeled. Professional photos coming soon!  CarriageHaus Retreat at the Comal now offers 7 bedrooms and 6 full bathrooms and will comfortably sleep (and entertain) up to 28 guests in beds.



Enjoy your own private 1800 square foot game room and entertainment pavilion complete with pool, shuffle-board, and foosball tables. Equipped with 4 large flat screen TV's, a sound system, and space to dance. There's also a large dining and bar service area and outdoor kitchen. If you’ve had just a little too much fun outside, the large entertainment barn is perfect for hanging out and relaxing after a long day on the water.   This entertainment pavilion now insulated with HVAC, bar kitchen with sink and refrigerator and half bathroom.  Outdoor kitchen with two gas barbecue grills.



Whether you want to swim or tube in the crystal clear water of the Comal River, enjoy the excitement of Schlitterbahn, shop downtown, grab a bite to eat at the many downtown restaurants / music venues, catch a game at a bar, take a quick drive to historic Gruene or just RELAX this is the home for you!

Included in your rental are numerous spaces for socializing and entertaining outdoors, with outdoor kitchen and 1800 square foot private entertainment barn with bar service area, indoor seated dining and dance floor. Convenient access to the Comal River within easy walking distance. Want your event catered? We can recommend private chefs, local restaurants, and mobile bartenders who will design a custom meal and drink menu for your event.



CarriageHaus Retreat:



The living room, kitchen, dining, and laundry room are all on the main floor. There are three bedrooms and four bathrooms on the main floor and four bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs.  The home boasts a total of five flat screen smart TV's in the living room and in bedrooms 1,2,3, and 4  - Internet enabled so you can log in to your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon prime accounts - WiFi mesh net with high speed internet connection, water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water. All king and queen beds feature a luxury Posh+Lavish Oeko-Tex Certified mattress while the daybeds, trundles, and Twin XL beds feature Oeko-Tex certified cooling memory foam mattresses.  You'll enjoy crisp hotel linens and towels, and complete hotel bath amenities.



Main floor:



Living Room: At the rear entrance to the home, in the the living room you'll find plenty of comfortable seating and a 75" UHD Smart TV.  Living Room features a Coddle Me Luxury Queen Convertible Sofa and and enjoys access to the Laundry room and full bathroom with Tub/Shower. The Coddle me Queen convertible sofa bed is not your ordinary sofa bed.  It converts to an 80”L x 60”W sleep surface and feature sinuous springs and pocket coil mattress technology.



The Kitchen has been completely remodeled with floor to ceiling cabinetry, a farm house sink, and new stainless steel appliances.  The kitchen has all GE appliances - 5 burner gas cooktop with electric oven with vent to the outside, side by side refrigerator / freezer with ice and water in the door, and under counter microwave. There is also a Perlick undercounter ice machine, reverse osmosis water dispenser at the sink and Keurig coffee maker. There is a second side by side refrigerator / freezer in the Pavilion.



The Dining Room holds a 9 foot table that can extend to 12 feet in length to accommodate up to 14 people for a meal together under beautiful beaded chandeliers.

Other Things to Note:

o For guests who book on Airbnb - Max occupancy for this property is more than 16 guests. If you will have more than 16 guests please message us as we will need to adjust the number for your booking. There is an additional guest fee of $25 per night per guest over the base occupancy of 14 (2 per bedroom).

o The booking guest must be at least 25 years old.

o Parties / events allowed - must be approved prior to booking and will incur an additional fee. Please message us.

o Refunds for guests who booked through HomeAway / VRBO or our direct website will be processed minus any credit card fees as they are not refunded to the host
