'We have stayed here before, although not in this unit. We were very sad this unit did not have recliners - the last unit we stayed in did. There is the absolute minimum of kitchen equipment and towels, and very cheap toilet paper. It's a shame since the units were built to be upscale, but they are being managed as mid-range. However, I suppose that is reflected in the relatively cheap rate.'

'We had a great stay here. The property is very clean and comfortable, the owners go the extra mile by providing a few drinks and snacks, communication was very clear, and we felt we had privacy even though it's part of their home. It's in lovely location near the port, but still walking distance to town for dinner. Highly recommend and would stay again.'

'Great dog friendly property. Comfortable bed, fantastic shower with fab pressure! Plenty of firewood for the fire, just had to buy kindling. Access to main door was not close to car, not ideal if its raining on arrival or departure. Clean and tidy. Location was quiet and handy to CBD. Appreciate that we could bring our dog on holiday.'

'This was a great place to stay. It was very spacious and had a nice garden for the children to play in and it had wonderful views of the beach and Port Taranaki from the deck. It was lovely to sit outside in the evening and watch the sunset and the boats being loaded at the port.'

'I was a bit wary about staying in an obviously more "industrial" site - but it was ok! the unit was modern, comfortable and well equipped - the balcony with a bush view was an unexpected bonus. I would stay here again.'

'Wonderful property below kitchen bathroom store. It had some really neat fittings! The mirror in the bathroom was amazing. Only complaint is that it needs one more chair in the living area so all 4 guests can sit comfortably.'

'Love the location. Straight across the road from Star bucks and the shopping centre. Free access to a gym sold me. Only problem was the rubbish from the previous guests was not removed from the toilet bins, or the kitchen bins, There was a change of towels the next day, but sloppy bed remake. So probably cleanliness wasn't great to some degree. '
