Mediocre staf and under construction
Rooms are comfortabel, large bed and clean. Nice coffeemachine in the room. Place somewhat far from NYC and 17 km from the staten island ferry, but still easy to reach. Also, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the ferry, wich is very convienent. Parking next to the ferry is also possible, 8 dollar for the whole day. The hotel could really use some points of improvement. It is under construction, and it would be better if guests are informed about this. Breakfast is alright, also considering the price we paid, although they run out of food very soon when you come late (and breakfast is only served till 9.30). Last but not least, the largest point is probably the staff, very “shady” people, all wearing different clothes, it doesn’t look like they want to give their guests a great stay. Not sure if I would recommend this hotel, maybe when renovation is completed.

Room was rented when staff knew bathroom sick faucet was not working. Tub was very slippery with no slip mat. Following morning staff enters room without knocking to fix said sink.

Property right near where my business is located. There was problems with computer to check in but clean hotel. Disappointed the restaurant closed but it has been awhile since I was here.

Depending on the reason for booking a hotel, you basically get the same thing with most hotels, it’s the extras that can make or break the experience. I actually stayed an extra day because of the staff and the comfort level of being there. I booked a few days here and a day there,(total of two weeks if not more) due to the delays with my apartment. I can honestly say that each interaction with every staff member there regardless of their job description was a positive and helpful one. Customer service, top notch, that’s my two cents.

Due to delays with my apartment, I was fortunate enough to find a hotel that was perfect for my situation. You would think the staff here knew you from the neighborhood. If you needed clean towels or to book last minute night, someone was there ready to help. These days, especially living in New York, customer service plays a part with decision making, I’ll choose this place ten out of ten times.

Guy at the front desk over charged me by $81.00 on my credit card at check in.We had no hot water in our room freezing cold shower is no fun. Our room was by the stairs, so everytime someone used the stairs a door would slam really loud all day and at night. Parking was horrible and the area is really dirty.

I love that ALL of the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean. It was quiet up on the 3rd floor with the exception of hearing noise from highway nearby. Hot breakfast with eggs and coffee was also very convenient. I would stay here again in the future.
