'This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!'

'Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.'

'The house was nice and the property is spacious. Great views from the dining room table. A little steep heading down to the dock but not terrible. Very private setting, but also only 5 mins away from pretty much anything you could need. Some nice restaurants just across the bridge in Solomons Island. Would love to return in warmer weather to take advantage of the kayaks and water.'

'I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.'

'From the moment you drive up, you are in love with the property...you see the horses across the street and water view even from the front of the house! When you open the front door, you know you have started your vacation! Beautifully decorated open floor plan gorgeous home! You would think you are steping into a model home! Super cleaned! Perfectly decorated. The kitchen is big, the island is huge, the table is beatiful and you have a great view of the water. Both sitting area and living room...

'My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It’s the nicest place we’ve stayed in Colonial Beach. Dan, the host, was quick to answer any questions. The home is tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the little amount of cooking that we did. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The view of Monroe Bay was exceptional!! We would love to stay again with friends. The only issue might be the full size beds in the other two...

'Fabulous place. Very clean and user friendly (labeled light switches, clear directions left on countertop). Kids (and grownups!) LOVED the indoor pool and the “mermaid shower” in the main downstairs bedroom. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful weekend getaway.'

'Place is as described and shown in pictures. It will accommodate your group easily with lots of amenities to keep you busy. Host was helpful, communicated through out the stay, and had frosty mugs in the freezer ready for your fav beverage. A+ recommendation.'
