'Our room was a suite on the 5th floor. Those rooms have very high ceilings, so drapes opened and closed with an electric switch. In the first room #501, the drapes wouldn't close all the way - approx. two feet short. Since the room faced east, this was a problem for getting sleep. The front-desk rep. willingly moved us to another room, #503. Those drapes nearly closed, but left a crack approx. six inches wide. 'Make sure to read breakfast menu before hand before purchasing before stay, some interesting choices that may not be for everyone! The hotel was beautiful, staff was most helpful and kind. Especially the gentleman assisting with transporting the luggage from door to room! Beautiful views of the Mississippi River from the room we stayed in. Valet parking is a nice option but more expensive for larger vehicles which is unfortunate, ended up parking a block away in a garage due to this. Otherwise,...

'Het is een historisch gebouw. Op de zeer koude winterse dagen was de kant van de ramen wel koud in de kamer maar de verwarming was makkelijk naar een hogere temperatuur te zetten. Het is een bijzonder charmant hotel met een zeer service gerichte staff. Een aanrader.'
