'Great property with amazing food! I feel the highlight for me was the food… they had a variety of options to choose from and the taste was truly amazing'

'Everything was very good including the breakfast and dinner'

'I try to write fair, detailed reviews as I rely on them myself when choosing properties. Mountbatten appealed to me for its heritage positioning and proximity to Kandy’s historical centre, and in many ways it delivered. Location & Atmosphere – 5★ The setting is exceptional: tranquil, elevated, surrounded by greenery, and beautifully maintained. The infinity pool is stunning and the staff are very mindful of guests seeking quiet. It genuinely feels peaceful. Service – 5★ Warm, attentive and...

Zouden hier zeker terugkomen.'

'very charming hotel! clean rooms and facilities, super friendly staff and service! '

Een eerlijke, inspirerende man! Waren alle guesthouses maar zo!'

'Bathroom is clean and has hot water, room has AC, only thing is wall are looks like molded ,'

'The staff were great, really helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay even better than expected. The views were amazing and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was great, lots of food and the local menu was delicious. The road leading up to the hotel is pretty rough and our driver struggled in his little car. Other than that, we were very pleased overall and would stay here again. '

'Das Serendip Hotel liegt eigentlich traumhaft - aber in the middle of nowhere.

'We arrived on location 2 hours prior to check in from à long 5 hour drive. Our driver told us there were many traffic jams along the way so we were not sure about ETA. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were asked to wait in the lobby only to be told our room was not available as they had a group of people that would only come back in the evening so we were redirected to another - unsuitable- hotel for our specific needs. The hotel manager told us they they had already issued the refund for our stay...

'It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax.'

'The views are amazing and staff friendly but we were very disappointed when they tried to scam us at dinner. After we ordered the waiter suddenly announced that all the prices in the menu was “old prices” from 2022 and that there would be extra charges. Appearantly the menu card has not been opdater for 3 years…. That kind of extortion is just unprofessional. '
