'The property could have been taken care of a little better, lots of weeds in the flower beds in the parking lot. The pool was out of service every day of my stay except Saturday and it was ice cold. The black out curtains in my room had many holes and could have been replaced. The hotel was quiet and I slept well. Breakfast was good, lots of choices and kept stocked.'

'It's a Super 8 ;) But for the area, if you want affordable, we have stayed here many times. Always feel safe and the staff is welcoming. It was hard to rate ammenities because there really aren't any other than breakfast. I was shocked to realize they don't even have an elevator. Not that we needed it but still. It is RIGHT next to the Blue Gate for concerts or plays if you are in town. Very pet friendly as well.'

'Everything was excellent! Early in AM on the way to a great breakfast, we asked room attendant to check our TV and the safety strips in the bathtub. Both of theses were done by the the time we finished breakfast! So clean Our conference room was well prepared for us. I was with a quilting group. I appreciated the lil notes left by our room attendants.'

'The staff, renovated room and breakfast were all very good. The hotel is still in the middle of major renovations in the lobby so it isn’t usable. Just good to know, but I’d still stay there.'

'Truthfully, my favorite economy hotel experience I've ever had. My wife and I stumbled upon this place on the way home from a trip to Chicago a year ago- it was such a great experience that we took our family of 5 back for a weekend trip. Beautiful atmosphere, clean rooms, restaurants & ice cream shop on-site, and our kids LOVED all of the activities, farm experiences, and green space surrounding the property. We are a family that also loves staying at 5-star hotels (Four Seasons, 1 Hotels,...

'The best (rain)shower in America! '

'The staff are very nice people. The parking is great and the bed is comfortable. But the AC, at least in room 149, is too loud to permit sleep. The bathroom fans are also very loud - loud enough that the fan from the room above was disturbing. So if you want a nice staff and a nice overall hotel, this is an option. But if you want to sleep, stay well away from room 149.'

'The place has been painted on the outside and that is about it. The sign is blown off so if it wasn’t for the signs at the main road you wouldn’t know where it was. We didn’t stay for breakfast but it had a bit of everything. The room was clean. Just very old. Smelled bad. Staff at check in and out was very nice.'
