'Very quiet little cabin, near all the activities and a few steps from the trails to the river. Being off season some of the amenities were out of service but we enjoyed the gardens and trails and the covered areas during the rain.'

'The apartment is in a great location with a phenomenal view (if the clouds cooperate). Three super markets, the town square, dozens of dinning options, all within a 3-10min walk. The property owner was super responsive and helpful. The amenities provided for everything my family of five needed.'

'This was a perfect place for us. It is clean, easily accessible with flexible check in. The kitchen is well equipt. Our only issue was the laundary use. The time you are allowed to use it is 4pm to 8pm, which was when we were out. That said, they were flexible with us and let us use it for an extra hour. '

'Property is very close to downtown. Walking 1 to 2 km in this town is normal distance. We moved around with rental car. House/condo is very clean and rooms are nice. Kitchen has mostly everything you need. Our family loved it. Alao they recommended very nice Mexican restaurant and a local shop for empanada which were the best. '

'As I say in the title this is a nice place and I will add it is a great value. The host asked us before we left if there was anything we would suggest to make our stay even better. We told Cristian there were a few minor things that would make this place even more appealing. First and foremost a microwave oven would be a huge upgrade. 'Cabañas del Rio was a wonderful place to stay in La Fortuna. We stayed in the family unit with three queen beds and a kitchen. It worked out great for our family of 6. Wonderful garden trail to watch for birds and frogs in the morning. Felt at home here! Clean, comfortable beds, spacious. Thank you for a great stay! '

'If you are staying in La Fortuna, I cannot imagine a better option. We used it as a home base for all the usual activities in the area. For meals, we could cook right there (the Super Rosvil market is a short walk away) or we could go out to eat - there's Mario's place on the next corner for easy food, or an easy walk to downtown for lots of other options). Secure parking at the apartment beat trying to find parking in town. Maily was a pleasure to work with. The place was very comfortable and...

'We enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment right in the heart of Arenal. Everything was newly renovated and very clean. They even have filtered drinking water onsite. The property managers live nearby and were very helpful and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!'

'This is such a special spot. A hidden gem. The cafe is so fun and some of the best food we had during our stay. We ate there 3 times! Kelly is an awesome host and very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended. '
