'The lodge is conveniently located less than 10 mins outside of downtown Helen. It’s positioned on a secluded hillside just off the main 2 lane road. The building and decor does feel a bit outdated but adds to the charm. We stayed in the “Family Suite” which was a split level room. It was great having a separate sleeping area from the kids. I’m 6’4 and had to really bend over to get up the stairs in our suite but wasn’t a huge deal for a few days. We were a bit disappointed they didn’t...

'The only breakfast available was prepackaged pastries, old fruit, and coffee. The facility is very old. It is as clean as it can be for its age. However the carpet is bleached, missing ceiling tiles, and the bed was very lumpy. The tv is out of date. It is not a smart tv. There is minimal staffing. They will only bring towels when requested. Air conditioning was great. The location is great. Super close to the fairgrounds.'
