'Well the only problem was the showers. We only stayed one night traveling through. I just wanted a bed and shower. The bed was great the shower was cold. I stop to let them know on the way out the shower was cold. He said oh yeah the whole second floor has trouble with the shower settings lol. 'Truthfully, my favorite economy hotel experience I've ever had. My wife and I stumbled upon this place on the way home from a trip to Chicago a year ago- it was such a great experience that we took our family of 5 back for a weekend trip. Beautiful atmosphere, clean rooms, restaurants & ice cream shop on-site, and our kids LOVED all of the activities, farm experiences, and green space surrounding the property. 'The best (rain)shower in America! '

'The place has been painted on the outside and that is about it. The sign is blown off so if it wasn’t for the signs at the main road you wouldn’t know where it was. We didn’t stay for breakfast but it had a bit of everything. The room was clean. Just very old. Smelled bad. Staff at check in and out was very nice.'

'Very nice place to visit, but tucked away all on its own. Rooms were nice but we were there during a heat wave and room was hotter than the hallway. After trying to cool it down they moved us across the hallway where the AC worked great (why didn't we start there?). Staff was super helpful with the relocate. Restaurant was nice and has a tiny bar area. Walking trail is nothing more than a mowed loop around the property. Rooms were nice and dinner was nice.'

'We checked in and our first room was visibly dirty. I asked for housekeeping to come address the issues and was informed that housekeeping was not available until the following morning. I asked for a new room and was given one, but it was only slightly better than the first. We ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and cleaned ourselves. I did not look at the bedding that was turned down and the linen was misty smelling and to find the coverlets were very dirty on he top edges that you pull up. I told one of the cleaning ladies about it and she told me she would tell the cleaning lady for the first floor when she arrived. 'Checking in was awful as they tried to sell us a more expensive room with all kinds of excuses. Fine if you want to upgrade us for free, but don’t start with all the nonsense. The rooms are in need of an update. Would not stay here again.'

'The pool area gets super hot/ humid in the summer. The area could benefit from an a/c system or an exhaust system to control the chlorine fumes and uncomfortable temp. Not bad when you're swimming, but if you are watching the kiddios it's not a great guest experiences.'
