'I stayed at the Ameristar East Chicago for 21 nights over 11 stays in fall 2025, travelling for business. It doesn't have everything (breakfast) and is in an odd location. But it was half or less than hotels in Hyde Park, had free parking, big rooms, was always clean and quiet, and the front desk staff was awesome. Shout out to Danica, who was not only a joy but who directed me to the rooms with the best wifi.'

The front desk staff was absolutely amazing—when I thought I lost my keys (thankfully I found them), they were so kind, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole situation. It really made a stressful moment much easier. The breakfast attendant was also wonderful—she asked how our stay was and was genuinely sweet and welcoming.
