'We were going to be late checking in. I tried to call the front desk THREE times during the day and I was just put on a loop and no one ever answered. To be fair the actual man at the desk who checked us in was very cordial. The hotel has just switched from a Motel 6. The old signage is still there. GPS had a hard time finding it and sent us down back alleys, even though it is on a main road. 'The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay.'
