'The room was very basic (family room for 6 people) but we made do as we were only staying for 2 nights for a family wedding in the area. As soon as we arrived the host came to meet us outside in the car park before we’d even got to the pub door, which seemed a little rushed as she showed us straight to our room. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. 'This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath. Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill. One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

'Prima locatie, goede kamer en dito service en ontbijt! Prijs-kwaliteit is eveneens goed. De ontbijtzaal was wel wat krapjes voor het aantal aanwezigen en 's avonds laat deed de douche het helaas niet (probleem bleek 's morgens een elektriciteit-stop, was toen wel snel verholpen). Toch zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.'
