'The house was clean. The host was very responsive. It was too cold for us to enjoy the beach but we did walk over the dunes to look at it. The house is date with some spruce up done. But I like the character of older home. The bed in the master bedroom was fabulous, very comfortable. '

'Local avenue for beach days and nearby necessities. I experienced a decent mix of good & bad at this location. Noisy neighbors live upstairs, which can be distracting if you plan on spending a large majority of your time inside. Otherwise, there is a park and beach nearby, while being located in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Personally, I will not return, but I recommend to anyone looking for a new experience in Norfolk, VA.'

'My husband, my mother and I stayed in two rooms for the homecoming of my son on the USS Gerald Ford. We were very disappointed that the rooms did not have a coffee maker OR a microwave. They also did not have any dresser or night stands with drawers to store clothes. This was definitely like staying in a dorm room. 'Used Uber to get there. Close to 5he huge navel base. Lower economic neighborhood but felt safe. Without my own transportation, no shopping to speak of: Food Lion, Dollar General, and alike. Found great little Thai restaurant one block over. '

'Do not stay at this hotel. The pictures posted online appear to be from years ago when the hotel first opened and do not accurately reflect its current condition. All of the furniture is outdated, and although the beds were made, the covers and pillows were dirty and unsanitary. The overall condition of the property felt poorly maintained and uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying here.'

Although I did not use the kitchen for any cooking, it is equipped with all the essentials needed for any meals that you may want to prepare.
