'This hotel missed the opportunity to do some update’s in the 1980’s, and didn’t try to catch up afterwards. Really everything in worn out. A horrible matras, big stains on the ceiling, old and dubious carpet. An airco from the roman empire that didnt work properly. The bathroom was falling apart, like literally. 'I wasn't disappointed in terms of value for money; contrary to the reviews, this hotel may no longer have the luster of the old Holiday Inn, but I would honestly stay there again on my next visit to Rutland. The room was very nice, clean, with the expected little extras. The bed, bathroom, refrigerator and microwave, air conditioning, and TV were all very good. And what about the location, which is very convenient, with all amenities nearby?'
