'Absolutely loved the Captains Quarters. The home is gorgeous and conveniently located within walking distance to the small downtown area. Becky was a great host and made us some great pancakes in the morning along with some wonderful conversation. The procedes from staying here go for a good cause which was the cherry on top. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully longer next time! '

'We slept in tower 1. Very nice room with an excellent bed and clean. The people are very nice. The Inn is nearby the center of Mendocino and is in walking distance of everything. We enjoyed our stay very much. Improvement suggestion: less sugar during breakfast! Everything they serve is sugar rich. Very sweet granola, only sweetened joghurt, sweet scones; no natural joghurt, no ham and no cheese.'

'Arriving at the Shiraz Boutique Bed and Breakfast is like being transported to another time. Not only is it a historic house, filled with beautiful antiques from all over the world (painstakingly selected by the lovely owners, David and Alex), but this is a real, honest-to-god bed and breakfast, folks. One of the last of its kind where the owners greet you with a pot of tea, make you breakfast, and will sit and chat with you to learn about your travels and regale you with stories of their own....

Chairs on the lawn with a fantastic view, s’mores kits, water bottles in the room. Every thoughtful detail—so nice to settle in for the night in a place like this. Also very close to Mendocino—4 minute drive to restaurants, stores, coastal walks, etc. '
