'We were lucky to find this alternative within one day when Alexander Apartments did not communicate through the VRBO app and we could not check in into their apartment. Powdene House is right in the centre which has advantages and inconveniences too. You come in through the back which was quite unattractive at first but for a short stay acceptable. The apartment is best for two but we were four and managed. At night there is quite lot of noise which could spoil your night but we were very tired...

'We loved our stay here and will definitely return. Lots to do in the area, and the property was lovely - clean, well equipped and spacious. Great Ayton was a really good base for us, and the property is really well located with shops and cafes just a short walk away into the village!'
