'If you are a pet owner this property is listed as pet friendly but is really almost pet friendly. We had a three day drive to Cedar Rapids and 11 hours before we arrived we received an email with an extensive list of pet rules. Most were reasonable except the one that said pets shall not be left unattended at the property which basically means you cannot leave the property without taking your pet with you. We were told this was to keep noise down and for the safety of the pet. We explained to...

'Very comfortable place to stay. Great location for visiting the Amana colonies. We had a family reunion in the Amanas and only needed a place for 1 night. This was a perfect location. The host was very helpful. All the beds were comfortable for sleeping. Everything was clean and tidy. Highly recommended.'
