'We loved this little gem. The room was impeccable. You could feel the extra care with the finishing touches. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed and more. The patio was a great little private space and the room was extremely comfortable. It was right by the bay and beach and next to a parking lot. Would love to book here again. '

Our only complaint was the cleaning staff must have forgotten to finish our room after our first night. The beds were made but towels, washcloths, coffee, paper coffee cups, and tissues were not replaced. We didn’t notice until the morning and it was too late to get them to bring replacements. 'We had a good time staying at Hampton Inn San Diego-Kearny Mesa as a family of three. Things that stood out for me was breakfast, courteous staff & cleanliness. Location is just 15-20 min drives to most of the attractions including airport & old town train stations. We haven't used pool & gym facilities but they look good. They have a good lobby & dinning area. Breakfast is better than typical cheap hotels as they include one egg dish & maintain good hygine. '

'Our front desk attendant (young woman) was excellent. Friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our shuttle driver was personable and informative. The meal we had in the Lounge was delicious and the bar/lounge attendant was very helpful and attentive. '
