'Our family travelled around Ireland and London for 2 weeks and stayed at 9 different hotels and this was the best hotel we stayed at even though it was the least expensive. The newly remodeled rooms are beautiful and spacious. The staff was very friendly and it was within walking distance of the Bunratty castle and other restaurants. 'Clean, comfy, quiet room. I asked the man on reception if it was ok for my 16 year old son to come into the bar with me to watch the live band- he was very stern and said he would turn a blind eye and my son would not be allowed alcohol and that they would be ‘watching’!! I wouldn’t allow my son to drink alcohol, I just wanted him to be able to watch the live band (who were very entertaining!) so I was surprised to see the bar had lots of children running around after 9pm! 'There were 3 beds in my single room. No GSM coverage at all in my room at the south side of the hotel, only when holding my phone against the window. Room was comfortable & clean and indeed included free, good functioning, wifi. The south side of the hotel is so close to the highway you can't open your window because of the noise. Consider booking something else.'
