'I was hugely impressed by this hotel. Physically it's a characterful building. It's well looked-after, it's got a really good restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful without tipping over into being intrusive. They have sensible car-parking arrangements and the setting, in the centre of Conwy is only 5 minutes' walk from the castle. I enjoyed Conwy as a town very much as well - pretty and with shops you actually want to go to. I toured through Canterbury, Whitby, Conwy and Hay-on-Wye...
