'We hadden een heel fijn verblijf. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en een fijne tuin. We hadden prachtig weer. S’avonds koelde het af, maar het huis is gelukkig goed verwarmd. Het ligt bij een schapenboerderij en aan een mooie wandelroute naar de bergtoppen er achter. '

'Met 4 MTB mannen paar dagen geweest. Prima, zeer net en schoon huis. Alles is aanwezig voor een mooi verblijf n Windermere. 1 puntje van kritiek! De Auto kan je niet bij het huis kwijt, je moet zelf opzoek naar een parkeerplaats'

The cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need for a romantic few days away, including two big bath towels each, never mind all the other little touches and the excellent welcome basket. 'We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property in the Lake District. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and thoughtfully prepared. The location was perfect: peaceful and secluded, but only a short drive (or a long, scenic walk!) to some amazing views, great pubs, and some fantastic hiking trails. 'Great location for our annual family trip home. Janet and Rob are very welcoming and everything was ready and perfect for are 14 night stay. We have tried to book this location in previous years but they were booked. We will definitely be trying again in the future. It’s now top of our list of vacation homes. '

'Beautiful lodge, it had a home from home feel. It was cosy and comfortable with great space. We loved the hot tub. I would stay again and definitely recommend. The location was great, we drove but also great bus links. '

Note that hotels.com incorrectly shows the location on the map, house is actually over an hour walk from the center of Windermere. Further, hotels.com inaccurately details free WiFi at the accommodation. Space itself is about as pictured. Very cosy, lovely garden, however did quite aggressively smell of wet dog and conservatory had some spiders/cobwebs. '
