'Het was echt ranzig, ik dat er voor 3 nachten en ben ziek naar huis gegaan. Bed was niet goed rugpijn van. Er is een soort gekke kluis onder je bed maar om die te openen moet je half je bed optillen er helemaal uitschuiven en weer dicht doen. Ik ben hostels gewend maar dit was zeer slecht. '

The room wasn’t great it needs updating the place smells of feet in the corridor and room The room wasn’t great it clean the beding and towels clean just the carpet was stained you didn’t wanna put your feet on it The walls where painted over mold The bathrooms where clean need more than 1 shower and 1 loo Over...

'The hostel is cozy, located close to the lake, and within a short drive or a hike from Scafell. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. There is also a kitchen which can be used to cook your own food. The staff are all very friendly.'

'We enjoyed that we could use all facilities for free. The hostel is right at the centre of Kirkby Stephen. We popped in and out several times. The landlady very friendly, helped us find transport to our next destination. '
