'Really nice stay. Used the spa facilities for 2 hours. Very relaxing and clean. Room was lovely - we upgraded to the loft rooms. Very spacious and had a separate bath and shower. Even a television in bathroom so could watch whilst having a bath. Bed was very comfy. Also went down to have dinner at the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious. Had breakfast buffet in the morning which was nice as well. Overall a very relaxing stay and looking forward to staying again. '

'We had to pay 12,- for half a paint of lager and a pint cider! We felt ripped off! Everywhere we pay like 6-7,- in total for this '

'Sterk verouderd hotel. Daar is de prijs ook naar. Prima ontbijt en ideale locatie aan het strand en op 15 minuten rijden van de mooie wegen in Lake District. Bar en eten was top! Toilet bediening werkte niet erg goed. In het hotel hing een wat muffe lucht.'

'Great hotel, superb location, and super food. Room was brilliant, sublime views. My only 2 relative negatives, food service stopped at 7.30pm and via my wife, the ladies loos were up a fairly step staircase, and there was no accessible loo for folks with limited mobility '

'Jonathan welcomed us as we arrived. He gave us a full overview about the area, touring options and the house facilities. He was very considirate and we worked a breakfast that suited our kosher diet. The house is AMASING! huge bed, beutiful bathroom, everything is nicely decorated. We didn't come with a car so we used public transportation (Uber, train). It worked great.'
