'Very very old , not too clean . The bedding had a strong strong scent of bleach I guess that’s ok to ensure they are clean but not very appealing. The Rio was extremely dark no good lighting at all. Very inconvenient that you had to use your room key for the elevator to work. Give 2 out of 5 stars would not stay again for that price .'

'Great hotel and staff! The breakfast and evening socials were highlights, and the location is perfect for visiting the Riverwalk without the crowds. Just a heads up for future guests: the bathrooms don't have exhaust fans, so the steam set off our fire alarm. Also, try to request a room away from the elevator if you are a light sleeper, as it was quite noisy at night.'
