'Great little stopover. Simple room, but ideal location for getting around in Mackinac City and to the ferry to go across to Mackinaw Island. Could leave our vehicle right at the VRBO and walk everywhere.'

'Shawn was great to work with. House was clean and perfect size for a long weekend of trail riding. Plenty of driveway space for truck, trailer, and side by side. Restaurants close as well a gas station.'

'We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore.'

'I loved the patio/sun room. It was quiet and peaceful and the bedrooms, living room,bathroom and kitchen were fine. The garage had a gas odor from the water heater or boiler. The location was great and I'd come back again.'

'My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this site. The view of Lake Huron was beautiful. The lake is RIGHT THERE! No steep steps required to get to the water. The house interior has a rustic homey vibe that we just loved. It reminded us of my parents' home. The house was very clean and comfortable. While we were there, we saw a large eagle in a nearby tree. It was visible from the front window. It was perched in a nearby tree for 20 minutes and then flew off. We also met the next-door...

'Had an amazing time with my family making memories to last a lifetime. I grew up most of my life coming up to the area and my parents had lived near the location. My girls enjoyed kayaking everyday, bon fire 🔥, hearing the elk bugle, fishing in the river, Ocqueoc falls, and making big dinners. The game room is a great space too. My girls want to come back every year.'
