'Did not know there would be no bath towels or sheets on the bed , Had to drive into Alpena 30 min away to but towels wash cloth and sheets , was not happy about that'

'We rented after Memorial Day weekend. The cottage was not exactly ‘overlooking’ the lake and the property was actually not well maintained. Lots of overgrowth. The deck was in need of some upkeep and the flower boxes were full of dead flowers. The inside however was great! Beds were so comfortable! Shower drain had a bit of a sewer smell. We did enjoy the sunset as much as we could see between 2 houses across the street. The cottage sits close to the road, up against a steep hillside. ...

'First off the house is way better than what the pictures present online. She responds very quickly which is always appreciated. The house was very clean and very nice . tons of sleeping areas nice firepit very nice neighborhood right down the street is swimming or fishing and the beach is only 3 minutes away nice location really loved it would definitely stay there again next year. So if you're looking for a real nice place close to water for fishing and swimming activities and look no further...

'This cottage was the best rental we’ve ever had - there were so many wonderful details covered and everything we needed was provided. It was extremely clean, beds were so comfortable, and communication was great! We loved spending time in the game room, around the campfire, and being so close to the lake. Having access to bikes and kayaks was really cool for our family and we created so many memories! Highly recommend this cottage!'
