'The host , Charles was fantastic . He lives next door but assured us privacy the whole time. He was available when needed and accompanied us in every way. It is small but has everything you need. Bed was comfortable. We only had two cups of coffee but blamed it on ourselves as we hurried the clean to get in early. The Dollar store is just down the road and came in handy for snacks and coffee. I'm sure if we asked Charles would have brought us more coffee. It's so quiet and private. Sweet patio...

'We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.'

'They greeted us when we arrived and taught us the history of the property. The cottage was a great place to stay and we loved the grill and fire pit!'

'We loved the location of the property and the friendliness of the host. The kitchen has adequate utensils. This was not the easiest place to locate, but the host helped with a great description of how to find it. We felt Expedia misled us when they indicated linens were provided when they definitely were not. Since this was our only booking requiring this it was a bit of a hassle to bring our own sheets, blanket, and pillows for a two night stay.'

'The cottage was very attractive from the outside and the inside. Big trees around the property and one entrance had a handicapped ramp which was very helpful to me with mobility issues. The inside was extremely clean and well organized. Large free-standing fireplace and attractive furnishings. The big kitchen/dining room had plenty of space for a family. 'Everything was great. Well taken care of or brand new. House was clean and nicely decorated. Felt welcoming and cozy. Will definitely stay there again. '
