'If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great.'

'Rooms had bugs, the AC was not working on arrival at 10pm on 90*+ day. Promptly checked out and went to another property close by. As guests were departing the fire alarm went off. On the front end of travel the front desk checked in our guests who were delayed due to flight cancellations. This prepaid non cancel stay was partially refunded. Would not recommend, however staff did try to help.'

'1: The rooms do not have a mattress for a bed. They use a futon pad on a platform. These are not only very firm but extremely uncomfortable. I had 3 of the worst nights of sleep in my life, and this was a major contributing factor.
