Indulge in a peaceful retreat with your loved ones at this pretty period cottage in the picturesque seaside village of Bacton. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms, this is an ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends in search of a traditional cottage to call home while they explore the Norfolk coast together. Pack up a picnic and head off to Bacton Beach (1 mile) before spending a blissful afternoon strolling through Bacton Woods (2.5 miles). Alternatively, spend a few hours exploring Happisburgh Lighthouse (5.5 miles) - the oldest working lighthouse on the Norfolk Coast - and enjoy panoramic views from the top. Park your car in one of the cottage’s two parking spaces and make your way to this dreamy Victorian home.
Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a welcoming hallway. Head into the cosy living/dining room and make yourself at home by the pretty open fire to take in the garden view from the large sash windows. When it's time to eat, head into the contemporary-style kitchen to rustle up some dinner and get everyone together for a sociable evening at the dining table in the living/dining room. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine by the crackling fire and catch up on your favourite TV shows. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find three stylish bedrooms - two doubles and one bunk bedded room. Completing the layout you’ll find a smart bathroom with a shower over the bath and the WC is downstairs.
In the morning, wake up and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee in the garden. In the evening, fire-up the BBQ and enjoy a casual al fresco dinner.
