'The only plus about this hotel was that it was near the harbor so it’s easily accesible, once you walk through bakery in front. Cons: 1) The light fixture next to the bed was coming out the wall 2) the balcony doors don’t lock, so safety issue, 3) they take a very long time to reply to your WhatsApp messages 4) the WiFi was barely existent inside the room 5) i asked for them to arrange a horse carriage for me to help bring my luggage to another hotel and they told me I had to do that myself....

'We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that! Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed. 'De kamers zijn muf en ruiken vochtig. Het hotel zit buiten kuta en je kan de shuttle naar het dorp nemen en anders veel taxi gebruik. Handdoeken mogen niet meegnomen worden buiten het hotel. Lombok zelf is prachtig.'

'The hotel is in a quiet sector so if you’re looking to dining outside, you’ll need a car or a scooter, which you can rent directly at the reception (IDR 100000/day). The room was nice even though the terrace was enjoyable after sunset due to mosquitos ! Breakfast was really nice. Lots of options and very friendly staff at the restaurant. They offer different “themes”, like BBQ night, pasta night to mention some of them. Imam was very helpful and welcomed us with a very big smile every time....

'Lovely place to stay quiet well maintained, great staff clean good sized pool and no children when we stayed. Excellent breakfast. . No spa open yet & a gym would be great. Need transport into town but you can walk it if you like a bit of exercise- foot paths into town no great through.'
