The room was clean and spacious with a balcony so you wake up to a view of the mountails The host Priyanatha is so warm, welcoming and always available to help. 'I normally don’t write a reviews but this was the worst accommodation so I decided to write. I’m traveling all around Asia and this was the most stressful experience I’ve ever had in my life. First of all, room is not clean at all, towels smells awful ( it’s like someone’s already use it before), many ants climbing up on bed, and the worst thing is so many species of insects. We couldn’t sleep because of the many insects and mosquitoes. You can find much more better accommodation with this...

'Prima hotel op fijne locatie. Lopend naar nine arch bridge gegaan. Ook de mainstreet is op vijf minuten loopafstand. De locatie zelf bevat ruime kamer. Prima badkamer met fijne regendouche. De kamer zelf is erg ruim. Balkon viel qua oppervlakte tegen en deel je met twee andere kamers ( dan is de oppervlakte prima). Bed was prima. Ontbijt vers fruit, brood met jam, gebakken ei en Sri Lankaanse specialiteit. Basic maar wel goed.'

'The homestay double booked my booking so I turned up and they had nowhere for me to stay. At 5pm I then had to try and find a room in Ella for the night, in peak season. Ended up staying in a dirty hotel as that was the only option left after 3 hours of searching, and got severely ill from the food there. My whole holiday was completely ruined thanks to Dimuthu homestay. Unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT book here, it is not worth the risk.'

'Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. The paved road is quite windy...
