Breng je boot naar het strand! Hondvriendelijk.

Schattig huisje aan het water met een eigen aanlegsteiger op 2 korte blokken van het strand. Schop je voeten en ontspan met je familie en een harige vriend. Deze woning met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers is gunstig gelegen nabij de Middleton Avenue-brug, zodat het een fluitje van een cent is om naar het strand te gaan. Het heeft een grote achtertuin die naar zijn eigen aanlegsteiger leidt waar u kunt vissen of een boot, kajak of paddleboard kunt lanceren om de prachtige, serene en met wilde dieren gevulde waterweg te verkennen. Een deel van het dok drijft, zodat je je boot kunt vastbinden met gemoedsrust. Als u op het strand ligt of op de oceaan speelt, hebt u een korte wandeling van 5 minuten over de brug en bent u daar. Er is een eigen douche met warm water om het zand af te spoelen wanneer u terugkeert.

De grote slaapkamer is voorzien van een nieuw kingsize bed en een eigen badkamer. De middelste slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed en 2 kasten. De stapelbed kamer heeft twee stapelbedden en een grote kast vol met spelletjes en speelgoed. Er is ook een pack en spelen in de stapelbed kast en een peuter bed in de mastercloset. Bovendien, de zon kamer heeft een slaapbank met een full-size bed. Alle bedden zijn voorzien van dekbedden en volledig gesloten, matrassen met rits en kussens met hoezen. Linnengoed en handdoeken worden niet verstrekt.

Het huisje heeft centrale HVAC en full-size wasmachine en droger. Voorzieningen zijn onder meer nieuwe smart-tv's met Netflix en Hulu, evenals dvd-spelers en dual-band WiFi. Er is een houtskoolgrill en een wagen om je strandspullen mee te slepen.

Honden toegestaan, $ 100 kosten voor de eerste hond, $ 25 voor de tweede, max. 2 honden, overleg met de eigenaar over de rassen voorafgaand aan de boeking.

Beddengoed en handdoeken zijn niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. Ze kunnen door huurder worden gebracht of lokaal worden gehuurd van Sharon's Linens: 910-363-4839, Cell: 910-294-2200

The Dock House was perfect for our family. Our boys enjoyed fishing off the dock (caught spot and croaker), coffee on the porch was very relaxing each morning, and the house felt spacious even with 3 adults and 2 kids. The house was clean and well stocked for our visit. Thank you for opening your home to us!

This was such a wonderful house, the host thought of everything. The house was spacious for our large family to visit and the kids had room to spread out. My son never left the dock and made friends with the neighbor boys so they all fished together. The house was close enough to the beach that we got to walk with the puppy early in the morning. Loved the large fenced in back yard to sit out on the patio while the puppy ran around and chased her ball.

The Dock House was perfect for our family of nine adults. The dock was great for gathering, and launching kayaks. The house was close enough to walk easily to the beach every day. The owners were very responsive to our needs. It was a perfect week and we’d love to come back to The Dock House!

This was our second stay here and Vinnie and Megan didn’t disappoint. The property was very clean and well kept. They answered emails immediately. This home was more than we could have asked for. It was so comfortable, roomy, the air conditioning was incredible. The beds were comfortable. The yard was perfect for our pup and our kiddos. Our kids had fun for hours on the dock, fishing and crabbing! stores and restaurants minutes away. Super short walk/ride to the beach. Can’t say enough!

We were pleased to find the place exactly as we expected and even better! We knew from the listing that Vinny and Megan had gone to great lengths to make this place like home away from home. But so many toys and games for the kids, a small library for adults…and the most well stocked kitchen of any place we ever rented! We had a couple of minor issues upon check in and Vinny was so quick to respond, even coming out Sunday morning to take care of things. We loved this place for our family vacation and will definitely be the go to in the future. Thanks Vinny and Megan!

First off i want to say this was our best vacation yet. The location was perfect in the fact that it was close to the beach ,but not right on the beach. We had our own dock to fish from on the canal, we caught croaker ,pinfish, red drum ,flounder, and several nice black drum! The house was clean and well maintained. We were within walking distance to the beach and a all you need little store across the bridge. Lowes food is but a short drive up the road. We hated to leave!

Great location- easy walk to beach but we also rented a golf cart to haul all our beach gear/baby stuff to and fro. Great house- layout and fenced yard worked well for 5 adults and baby and dog. Tons of kid toys, books, kitchen items. Lots of room to spread out, covered outdoor space to keep sandy items out of the house but also out of the weather! Dock provided a peaceful place to read or just enjoy the view, also easy for us to use for kayaking. Kitchen was well stocked including some staples like spices, plastic bags, foil, etc. Beds were comfortable. Only complaints: pillows were not comfortable and couldn't find any beach chairs (which were listed as amenities) and honestly I didn't even message the owners to ask bc we made due w the ones we brought. Overall a tiny complaint in an otherwise lovely beach vacation stay! Communication w hosts was courteous and prompt! Would stay here again!

Our family loved this beach home! Home away from home! Realaxing, quiet, clean and roomy! Short distance to beach. Normally we stay ocean front in North Myrtle so this was different. But we enjoyed it! Son brought his kayak and fished from the dock and also on the canal from his kayak. Fenced in back yard was a plus and the dock views amazing! Loved everything and the owners are very nice and helpful! We will be back!

Our family loved this place! Maybe our best vacation ever! There was lots of room . Our older dog did not have steps to climb. She enjoyed staying on the deck. The younger one spent her time playing in the fenced yard. Our daughter napped In the rope chair swing. She has ordered one for herself. We got to fish off the dock and put the kayaks in there. Short walk to the beach. Comfortable beds. We were so sad to leave. We will be back!!

Loved the location of this home. We rented a golf cart for the week. Getting to the beach was super quick and easy. Loved the dock on the canal, especially for sunsets. We cooked all our meals at the house and I do mean ALL. We didn't eat out once during our stay. Everything was so convenient. We absolutely loved it!

The property was quite nice and suited out needs. There was new deck, out shower, and fenced yard. Our dog was able to enjoy his time at the beach too. The extra spray hose was useful to remove sand from beach equipment and dog. The golf cart drive to the beach was easy and the cart only parking at the beach access was appreciated. We had a great time fishing and Kayaking off the dock. Low tide is challenging to access the floating dock but worth it. The kitchen was well stocked for those that cook. The water tasted wonderful ... super appreciation for the water filter system!

The place is more than perfect. Very clean and has absolutely everything you could possibly need. My pugs loved the backyard and there were lots of tennis balls thrown in that yard during the week. The owners were great with communication leading up to the rental. Didn't really need anything while we were there, but am positive they would have been responsive if we did. We don't have kids but if you do, DEFINITELY kid friendly. The neighbor is the absolute sweetest man with good restaurant recommendations. Will rent here again.

The Dock House exceeded expectations! If you are looking for a family friendly home base to explore Oak Island please check out the Dock House! Plenty of room to spread out, fenced in yard, crabbing from the dock and a well equipped kitchen . The hosts are very responsive to questions and the neighbors are very friendly! I would recommend this rental property to friends and family without hesitation!

Our family really enjoyed our stay at this home! The highlight was definitely fishing and launching kayaks from the dock. The fenced in backyard was the perfect place for our dog to play! We really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our family of five were very comfortable here - the property is large enough that we each had our space, but cozy enough for family bonding. We made good use of the dock - going out on our kayaks every day, the fenced-in yard for our dog, and the proximity to the beach. The neighborhood was great for morning and evening walks with our dog. The property owners were responsive when the air conditioner broke. This was not their fault, as the unit was relatively new. We informed them of the problem and it was fixed by the next day. This house is a good fit for people who don't want a standard beach house on a gravel and sand lot - the trees, yard, and dock made it different.
