'Located in Glaston, we used the old pheasant for an overnight base whilst travelling through. Family suite was generous in space, clean and comfortable. Kids had private sleeping space. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and was looked after by the front of house team who were excellent. We stayed for breakfast and enjoyed both a continental and cooked breakfast. Food was value for money and service was fantastic throughout the visit. Would stay again. Value for money.'

'The steps were very steep and when we enquired about the lift we’re told it was “broke”. We had to constantly go up and down these steps several times each day which was tedious. The room was very dark and dim even with all of the lights on. The sealant to the shower partition was peeling off. Despite the room being called Lake View King there was no lake view. 'Stayed here many times but disappointed the room (carpet) didn't look clean, bathroom, this is only room with a bath and this will be the third time I've had this room and the bath taps don't work you can only use the shower. Previously I've had water in the room but not this time. Didn't look like the tea, coffee, etc. had been topped up'

'Een hotel ligt aan erg drukke weg, deed geen oog dicht. De foto's deden mij anders vermoeden. Voorts heeft het hotel geen faciliteiten, heb ik geen magnetron aangetroffen op de kamer en was de stoel bij het dressoir ronduit smerig. In het bed kon je de veren voelen, hoewel het comfort liggend wel te doen was. Belangrijk vind ik altijd de douche, lekker wakker worden. De temperatuur was niet goed in te stellen met de twee aparte handles en de vast douchekop hangt ter hoogte van de borst. Douchen...

'Lovely hotel, staff were fantastic and room was cleaned to an okay standard. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned, tea/coffee not replenished, no fresh towels, toilet rolls not replenished resulting in me having to call reception for more. That was the only downside to the stay'
