' The host was pleasant and made us welcome on arrival but the condition and the cleanliness of the property decoration, the carpets and our bathroom in general was so poor that we decided not to stay and left the property. We think the 9/10 and the 10/10 reviews of the hotel are very misleading and we should have looked more carefully before booking. We hope the management improves the property and does well in the future however we would not go back to the hotel.'

'We made our booking via a partner agent on arrival we were told to had to pay for parking which we weren’t aware of. £5 per night. We’ve stayed here many times over the years & never paid for parking . Despite pre checking in online the day before arrival with both guests details there was only 1 set of towels. Room was clean although I found an extremely long black hair in the bathroom I have a blonde bob. Value for money it served its purpose for our hiking break.'
