Misleading info and photos on VRBO. Floors were not swept. Black mold in basement bathroom. Clogged bathroom sink. This home should be renovated before being a rental property. Dirty clothes under bed in drawers. Medical equipment left out. Back door knob loose, did not feel safe. Photos were taken'

'So the house is advertised as 4 bedroom but one of the rooms is an attic room with a trundle bed we didn’t really find suitable for any of our guests during the stay. Minimal furniture and some ant problems in the kitchen The in and out of the house was super nice plus the bathroom situation was great. Did the job sorta for what we needed (someone had to bring an air mattress though) but wouldn’t stay again'

The walk to the beach was short but a little tricky because the first half has no sidewalk but still super convenient and better than paying $65/day to park in Cove Beach lot! One very minor note is there were a couple items missing from the house and Elena was super responsive in dropping them off for us quickly. We had a great stay!'

'We had a nice time staying here. The place is just as described. It is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had things to do in Purchase and in NYC and the location was perfect for us. I got to meet the owner and he even contacted me when I parked incorrectly so I could avoid a parking ticket. There is a grocery store, Costco, pharmacy, restaurants, and many other businesses very close to. If I have to go back next year, I will be looking to see if this rental is available again.'

'The owner was AMAZING with communication with an impressive response time. Many of the issues brought up in the old reviews have been addressed - new linens, new mattresses, etc. They are clearly very attentive and responsive to their renters.'

If it had been a bit warmer inside, it would have been perfect (we visited early February, but not during a blizzard)! Hosts were fairly prompt when contacted, and very gracious.'
