'This was mine and my husband’s first time staying in Bologna and we enjoyed staying in this apartment! It was very clean and the pictures were accurate, and also the host easily accessible when we had problems or questions about the apartment. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and definitely removed from the more touristy areas, which we prefer. We had a lovely stay!'

'The chalets are very noisy. You can hear the neighbours walk in their room and when they happen to speak up a little loud you can hear everything. The rooms are non-smoking but they have ash trays so there had been smoking in the room. It stank. For the rest it was clean, there was airco.'

'We selected this apartment because of the beautiful pool with great view and to be near Bologna. And that was just like we hoped it to be. We were perfectly welcomed by Alessandro’s son Gregorio. And met Alessandro the next day. He was a perfect host to us. We loved to play with the dog Novi, who was excited to play with the ball in the beautiful Olive Garden. We went to a few very good restaurants in the neighborhood (Trattorio del Borgo Monteveglio and La Casola) and visited Bologna...

'We had just a magnificent time at Borgo degli ulivi. Alessandro, Angela and their family are most welcoming, kind and helpful; offering great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The villa is so beautiful and the swimming pool heavenly. I highly recommend people to stay at this beautiful property with the view of rolling hills.'

'Overall it was great. It would’ve been nice to know that there is no elevator because the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of stairs, so if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, it is a struggle. The apartment has a regular bed and a sofa bed, which were pretty comfortable. We did need more sheets and towels during our stay. The location was perfect and the communication with the staff was also very good. '

'This beautiful, spacious, classical Italian style property was the perfect landing spot for our first week in Bologna. On the third floor, ovelooking cafes, wine bars and a vital social scene in the center of University life, we still enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the quiet back bedroom. Then down the elevator and out the front door, we could make our first stop at the cafe just across the street, then head out on foot in any direction to explore this interesting and beautiful city.'
