'Locatie ligt net buiten Brisbane, maar wel dichtbij het vliegveld. De naam Shangri La doet vermoeden dat het aan de grote keten verbonden is, maar dit lijkt een onafhankelijke uitbater te zijn. Het interieur van de kamer is wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon. En gratis parkeren voor de deur is een pre. Het gratis ontbijt, stelt niet heel veel voor, maar wel prettig om iets te hebben in de ochtend voor vertrek als je vroeg bij het vliegveld moet zijn. Op de locatie zelf is niet veel te doen, wel...

'The hotel itself was fantastic and staff welcoming. Bed was comfortable and roon spaciaous with plenty of storage space. Down side, mould on ceilings, exhaust fan not working and full of dirt and dust, really difficult to fill the kettle for a cuppa.'
