'Locatie ligt net buiten Brisbane, maar wel dichtbij het vliegveld. De naam Shangri La doet vermoeden dat het aan de grote keten verbonden is, maar dit lijkt een onafhankelijke uitbater te zijn. Het interieur van de kamer is wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon. En gratis parkeren voor de deur is een pre. Het gratis ontbijt, stelt niet heel veel voor, maar wel prettig om iets te hebben in de ochtend voor vertrek als je vroeg bij het vliegveld moet zijn. Op de locatie zelf is niet veel te doen, wel...

'The staff are very friendly. The room was cleaned daily. Very very comfortable bed. Nice view from the balcony. The only issues we had were a noisy fan in the bathroom that couldn’t be turned off and the shower curtain was mouldy at the bottom and looked yucky.'

'The property is conveniently located near many Brisbane suburbs. But if you have anything you want to do in the city center, it's best to take a commuter train in. As for the room itself, it was clean-ish, but the carpet was sticky. The bed was fine. There's a very basic suburban bar attached to the hotel with decent food. The staff of the hotel are all super friendly.'

'Great place to stay, has everything you need for staying short term or long term. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and was quiet during the night even though we were facing the main road. Bed was comfy and so was lounge. Also had a washing machine and dryer, everything you would find in an apartment. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Will stay again when in Brisbane next.'
