'Maurice is a great guy. Very thorough, made us feel very welcome. The house is as described, old farmhouse with loads of charm. The hot tub is a nice touch. The location was good, close to Dublin but outside the city.The showers were amazing and loads of toilet paper (4 ladies on the trip). If you like dogs, the springer spaniels are a treat!! 'The apartment was neat and clean with all bedrooms en-suite, which was a plus. The kitchen facilities were modern and served our needs well. I stayed in the ground floor bedroom by the front door, which had a window that opened to the street, and the Luas was just outside the window. As it runs from 05:30-12:30, earplugs were necessary. There was a Luas stop about two blocks away, and several sites of interest are within a short walk. A Spar store was just around the corner, as well as a number...

'De locatie en het huis geweldig! Een plek om tot rust te komen... Communicatie verliep prima. Wij vinden echter wel dat de schoonmaak wat beter zou kunnen, zo ook de inventaris van de keuken. Ook verschillende lampen waren defect. Verder hebben we echt genoten van het fijne huis en de rust. Ook de bezoekjes van de honden vonden we erg gezellig, wat een lieverds! We zouden deze plek zeer aanraden en hopen nog eens terug te komen in The Nook!'

'This property was well managed, clean, and charming. The owner/manager sent clear instructions for everything from self check in to how to work the stovetop (“hob” in Ireland) It was quite a luxury to have a big refrigerator AND a washer/ dryer for clothes! '
