'Het inchecken vergt slechts een minimum van administratie en is in 1-2-3 tellen geregeld. Alle etenswaren en alcoholische dranken zijn van top-kwaliteit. Bijv in het buffet restaurant kan kreeft, king-crab legs zoveel als je wilt gegeten worden. Aan de bar zijn top whiskeys en rum bij de prijs inbegrepen. De suite die we hadden, was ruim en voorzien van een jacuzzi en een jungle-douche, de mini-bar was goed gevuld met een ruime keuze van drankjes.'

'We came to Excellence El Carmen for our honeymoon! We had one initial hiccup with some racists, less than classy wannabe African American gangster guys and wives. It was like stare down and intimidation for hours just because my Caucasian husband was happy and dancing. 'The rooms were clean and the beach was clean daily and the drinks were very good and the food and the staff were excellent. I will highly recommend this location again five star treatment for my honeymoon and vacation thy did not disappoint. I will be back.'

'Zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad. Het is een zeer uitgestrekt en idyllisch hotel vlak aan het strand. Er zijn vele bars en restaurants met een grote variëteit aan keukens, voor ieder wat wils. De kamer was niet altijd even proper gepoetst en toonde toch wel wat gebruikssporen. Jammer vonden wij dat er geen souvenirshops waren in de buurt van het resort en de vrij lange afstand tot de luchthaven.
