Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it).

Can feel a little bit exposed, the lacy blinds are a little bit too see through.
Would also be really nice if there were hooks by the door to hang coats etc.

'Ligging van het hostel is perfect, de kleine kamer zonder raam wat open kan daarintegen verschrikkelijk. Ondanks de fan en de deur die we s’nachts open hebben gelaten wat het een bloed heet hok en dan lagen we er nu maar met zn 2en en was het ‘maar’ 20graden buiten...
Toiletten zijn gescheiden, douches niet. Mis een plankje oid om mijn spullen op te kunnen zetten/leggen bij de wastafels. Verder redelijk schoon, grote keuken en chill ruimte'

We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
