'This was such a wonderful property in a nice location on the lake. The house has been recently renovated and has modern amenities and decor. A screened in patio to relax on, sprawling property down to the lake and the boathouse including a nice fire pit, and a parking lot that can easily accommodate two vehicles or a vehicle and a small trailer. It's nestled into a corner of the lake so you only have neighbors to one side, and everything was very quiet and peaceful. This was an excellent choice...

'This place had everything included that you would usually have to pay extra for or don't have the option to have it at all. Private beach, dock, volleyball court, canoe, paddle board, life jackets, and hot tub for the extra price of 0 dollars. They were all included. Consider that because it was super convenient. The house is also a mile away from a Marina so you can drop in and out boats and skis very easily. Also have gas on site.'

'Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. The layout was perfect for our needs. We are already talking about a return trip. Fully equip kitchen (w/two refrigerators) made meals a breeze. 'Great location for historic sites or Shenandoah national park. Host is very responsive, great spot with plenty to keep you busy when you've finished for the day. Great set of games, pool, ping pong, puzzles, arcade games, snacks, coffee. Enjoyed the stay and will be back if we're in the area.'

'Amazing place! We jave 4 small girls and my family lives in the area so for a place to stay at that had everything toddlers need, as well as teens as the grow older....beds galore...you are supposed to be outside here, so be outisde and enjoy the natural buty'

Being that it was animal friendly had me nervous, but the home was spotless. Comfortable beds and furnishings. The hangout in the garage was very nice as well. Will definitely be booking again!'

'Pleasant and cozy, this farmhouse stay was enjoyable for all. The grandkids loved the chickens and the eggs for breakfast, the adults liked the kitchen and space in bedrooms. It was a great location away from the hustle bustle of the city, but still convenient to drive to wineries and stores. '
