'What an absolute delight Kangaroo House was! Charles and Jill were the sweetest hosts one could hope for, the property was very accommodating of any special needs, and any issue was taken care of promptly. The room we stayed in (Nuthatch) was perfect for our needs and very quiet and private. Watching the birds on the feeders (and the squirrels sometimes too) in the morning was so peaceful. 'I would go here again, and recommend it to anyone. Right in the heart of Eastsound with a water view, as well as a view of the town. There are many shops and restaurants right out the door. Barnes is restful and calm. Very nice decor, and heated bathroom floor!'

'The location was amazing. We loved the views and the coziness of the home. The hot tub was lovely. I would say this is a fantastic home for a family, but not two couples. Having a little fenced yard made it easy to sit out there with our dog. The location was great for taking hikes, kayaking, and getting to town. Communication with the owner was fast and we had no issues. The kitchen is well stocked, but just be aware there is no dishwasher (We knew this before going). The reason why I gave a 4...

'This was a perfect house for our family to gather during Spring Break. It was perfectly situated so we could walk to town easily but still have a sense of being in the country. The house was very well maintained and we had everything we needed to make our stay a perfect relaxing getaway. We all agreed that we would recommend this house to anyone who is thinking of an Orcas Island adventure.'
