If you have any issues with balance or you are a fall risk, the walk-in shower is no good. There are no bars and the door opens both ways. 'Great place to stay in Newport. Fantastic full hot and cold breakfast each day in large eating area. Close to the aquarium and science center. We rode our scooters on trails right from the hotel parking lot. Nice places to eat fresh seafood nearby. My grandson liked the occasion cookies in the lobby. Will return next year for sure. '

'We got upgraded to a nicer room since ours wasn't ready when we arrived. The receptionist was really sweet as well. We stayed for one night and it was nice. There were a few issues that were out of the staff's control like people smoking pot and being loud in the rooms but otherwise it was great. If they tighten up on the pot smoking in and around the rooms the stay would be more comfortable but the staff can't control everyone. Overall the stay was great on the part of the hotel!'

My room was very spacious, but there wasn't a lot of furniture, and they have the TV situated way too far away from the bed (like 25 feet). You'll have plenty of space to do some square dancing if you want, but you'll have to squint to see the TV. Hardwood floors instead of carpet. A lot of roadside inns are going that way these days, but I don't particularly like...
