Better staff education and communication is needed
The property was spacious and just as pictured. Unfortunately, there were some communication issues. The property is advertised as having 24 hour check in. This is not accurate and while there is a manned security gate that is 24 hours the check in office for access to the unit is only open from 8-6. This was both in the listing and I sent an email to confirm this as accurate and was told check in anytime. However, the day before check in I received a call letting me know someone would only be there from 8-6. It is advertised that there is complimentary shuttle access to Disney parks. Upon check in I asked about getting the shuttle (which I assumed would be at specific intervals, this was not the case) and was sent a link to reserve a space. Unfortunately there weren’t ANY spots available on the days we were going to the parks so we had to make last minute alternate arrangements. I was given incorrect information multiple times by desk staff. There is also information listed on spectrums website which advertises food delivery / catering options to the rented property from one of the on site restaurants, however, this is not actually available. When I inquired about that as well as an event that was being hosted on NYE at reunions I was told that they had no idea about any of it (even though it is on their site). There was supposed to be coffee and grab and go options available for purchase which are pictured in the listing but the fridges were empty and there was nothing available. The closest place to grab breakfast and coffee is the clubhouse which required driving to. I was also told we had access to both reunion and encore water parks. While this is true, you do need to make a reservation and get your name on a list before they let you into the encore park. All in all it was a good stay but was frustrating to not have straight answers and would have been helpful if we had correct and pertinent information prior to arriving.
