Bij binnenkomst hotelkamer roken we meteen een wietlucht. Dit gemeld bij de receptie. Er werd erg nonchalant op gereageerd "we sprayen wel wat febreze en zetten een afzuiging aan". Gevraagd of dit al bekend was, "tsja gebeurt wel eens". Eerste 2 dagen veel geschreeuw en kabaal. Gelukkig waren de resterende dagen rustig. Hotel ligt op 5 min rijden met shuttle van Universal, lopen is 30 min. Wat dat betreft prima ligging.

Eetgelegenheden in de omgeving was voldoende, OV in de buurt en leuke schone kamers en vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was zeker zwak.

Nous y sommes restées 4 nuits pour passer 3 jours à Universal Studios qui est vraiment tout près! La propreté est limite correcte et le personnel aussi, sans plus! Le petit déjeuner inclus est vraiment de base et il manquait toujours quelque chose! On réussissait quand même à déjeuner convenablement ! L’hôtel a quand même fait notre affaire étant donné sont prix très acceptable et la proximité avec Universal Studios!

We were so happy with our stay at Wingate!!! We had a beautiful large suite. The hotel is clean. The staff is phenomenal especially the front desk staff. They are warm and friendly, accommodating and helpful, and always with a smile. The included breakfast was typical and nothing special but good enough to fill our bellies before hitting the parks nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay - would definitely book with you again!

We stayed for 4 nights and had a decent experience, with the exception of a few things. The breakfast was very limited, with few healthy options. The eggs and sausage were cold every morning. The elevator seemed unstable and kept jerking as it reached the floor. The doors also opened before the elevator came to a complete stop. Our room was clean, but had a musty odor that was very noticeable upon entry.

Property is clean. Staff very helpful. Elevators very slow. Breakfast was the same items for the 3 days we were there. Property could use some updating. Couch in our room was very worn. Easy to get to, close to universal with a shuttle there.
