There was a convenient light right above the bed with a shelf so you could put jewelry or your phone. There was a plug right next to the bed, which is not something you find in most apartments in Amsterdam. It was on the ground floor, which is unheard of. It had a microwave convection oven combo and it had a stove top too. The floors were heated and it kept the apartment toasty....
