'This place was absolutely INCREDIBLE!!! We loved our very short stay so much. In fact, if we had to plan our big island trip all over again, we would have extended our stay at this beautiful gem tucked away in the jungle. How cool to be able to go from the front porch on a walk through steam vents, with information along the way about local flowers and plants. 'This studio is a lovely haven. It was clean and comfortable, and felt safe--not only is it in a nice neighborhood but has a full kitchen with reliable power and clean water in a kind of rural area. Also, it's in a location with some of the freshest air in the world. Kilauea erupted while I was there, but the air quality stayed good in Kalapana. Communication with the property manager was great.
